Barbell Side Bend

1. Begin by standing up straight with a barbell on your back. Be sure to keep your glutes contracted and abs pulled in tight to avoid arching your lower back during the movement.
2. Bending only at the waist, lean to one side keeping your lower body still. Return to the middle and repeat on opposite side.
